Family Focus is proud to announce that our very own Senior VP of Partnerships & Engagement, Mariana Osoria, MA has been appointed by Mayor Brandon Johnson to join the Education subcommittee.
Mayor Johnson announced the formation of the Chicago for the People Transition Committee and 11 subcommittees, guided by leaders from Chicago’s business, activist, and government communities. Their work will culminate in a written report issued in the coming weeks to shape and guide the new administration’s work.
“I look forward to creating the foundation for a bold, equitable agenda for the next four years,” said Mayor Johnson. “With our broad, diverse group of appointments, we will benefit from their lived experiences and their connections to the community in order to create an administration that truly represents all Chicagoans.”
We commend Mariana for her endless commitment to strengthening families through education and we are thrilled to see her in her newest leadership role. Congratulations to Mariana and all the subcommittee members!
