Mission

Hug-a-Book, an early literacy initiative of Family Focus, Inc., supports teachers, parents, and other adults as they instill a love of books and reading in young children of diverse backgrounds.

Services

Hug-a-Book promotes literacy and a love of books and reading by providing workshops and consulting services for teachers and other early childhood professionals, parent workshops, and a selection of multicultural hard-cover children's books.

News

A big "thank you" to everyone who made Hug-a-Book's May 2, 2009, Early Literacy Conference, Reading Really Is Fundamental a success. All who attended had an opportunity to discuss literacy and learning and to bring back new ideas for their programs, children and families.
