NU Student Athletes Hold Record Food Drive for Family Focus

Through a spirited competition among staff and varsity programs, Northwestern's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee collected a record amount of canned goods during its annual food drive to benefit Family Focus Evanston

In a contest that officially ended yesterday, NU's athletes and staff members collected and delivered more than 6,100 units of canned and non-perishable food items for donation to Family Focus. The total shattered the old record of 5,700 established during last year's SAAC food drive.
