
Dr. Farmer-Smith To Address National Conference
Keisha Farmer-Smith, Ph.D., Family Focus's new Director of Programs and Quality Assurance, will address the National Conference on Child and Family Programs and Policy (NRCCFP) on July 26 at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts.
Her presentation is entitled "Transforming Community One Family at a Time - A Case Study of Family Focus, Inc. and the Family Support Movement."
The NRCCFP focuses on programmatic and policy solutions, prevention, and interventions designed to enhance child and family well-being. The conference recognizes the importance of multi-diciplinary efforts to address the complex needs of children and their families. Conference attendees include representatives from many different disciplines, including family studies, psychology, sociology, social work, child/human development, political science, economics, public health, education, criminal justice, and social/public policy.
