After studying how heroes make a difference in the world, the first graders at Avoca West Elementary in Glenview wanted to be heroes themselves. They collected 149 coats, mittens, hats, scarves and more to donate to our Evanston center.

On June 13, Famiy Focus DuPage was one of 25 organizations to receive a grant from the DuPage Community Foundation. The $2,500 award was given in support of the center's Healthy Families DuPage program which serve non-English speaking first-time teen parents.
