Family Focus is home to the Midwest Learning Center for Family Support, which provides programs, agencies and communities with:
  • Customized training and staff development
  • Help accessing and funding learning opportunities
  • Enhancement or expansion of training programs
  • A forum for advocacy and discussion to strengthen, expand, and advance the family support field

NEWS Upcoming Professional Development Series

Family Structure & Family Dynamics
Date: September 24, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

9 a.m. - noon
Family Structure Workshop will utilize assessment tools for observing the structure of families in hypothetical scenarios and implications for practice.

1 - 4 p.m.
Family Dynamics Workshop will focus on assessing structure in the family and how it either supports and/or impedes access of human services. Role plays and scenarios will be used to highlight specific strategies.
