POSITION: Infant Mental Health Consultant (Part Time)
REPORTS TO: Vice President of Centers
OVERVIEW: Responsible for implementation of infant mental health services at Family Focus Englewood (FFE). The Infant Mental Health Consultant will use evidence-based techniques to support families with children 0 through 6 years of age. The Specialist must be well- trained to strengthen and enhance parents’ abilities to understand developmental issues related to the social-emotional needs of children. This position involves providing services such as assessments, planning, and delivery of evidence-based interventions for young children in center- and community-based settings, including families’ homes and collaborating agencies. Qualified applicants must have the ability to cultivate existing collaborative relationships to ensure that the entire family is able to receive the desired services.
The individual will be required to provide direct therapeutic services, including clinical (child-parent, individual child and individual parent, and family/therapy and counseling), and administrative (database documentation).
